Meteorologist Wannabe

By: Corey Potvin

Being that this is my last article for the Blue Blaze, I guess the most appropriate topic for me to write about is how much I'm going to miss writing for the school newspaper. Well, saying this would make me a bit of a liar. Writing is not my passion. This is not to say that I haven't had fun keeping the people who actually read my articles up to date on the weather, however. As those ten people must realize by now, I take a special interest in writing about the weather, be it fictional or factual. This is because I am unsettlingly fascinated by the weather. Not surprisingly, my ambition is to become a professional (and, hopefully, a halfway accurate) meteorologist. More specifically, I think I may want to work for the National Weather Service somewhere here in New England. As long as I can make a difference through my meteorological expertise, I will be happy. So, think of me whenever a severe thunderstorm watch or high wind advisory is issued for your area years from now. And always remember to keep an eye to the sky.
