New Playwrights Competition

On February 11th and 12th, CSE will stage its annual New Playwrights Competition. In order to enter the competition students had to have submitted one act plays to the drama club in early December. The plays were then cast and in most cases the writers served at the directors. About 10 diverse plays will be performed this year. Playwrights include Rose Wollman, Aimee Jack, Seth Morton and Louie Tremblay, Shawn Robitaille and Kristen Schulze, Johanna Mathieu, Alyssa Projansky, Kevin Fitzsimmons, Jeff Lagasse and Kristen Schulze, Ian Ashland, and Heather MacKenzie. Five plays will be performed on each night and the judges will give their final decisions, comments and criticisms the final night. Also, the winning play may go on to compete at the Regional One Act Festival in March. Good luck to everyone involved!
